Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Partial Least Squares (PLS) is a intensive program aims to equip faculty members and researchers with the
knowledge and skills required to employ SEM and PLS techniques in their research projects effectively. This Program on Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Partial Least Squares (PLS) is designed to provide educators, researchers, and professionals in various fields with a comprehensive understanding of advanced statistical techniques for data analysis and model testing. SEM and PLS are powerful tools widely used in social sciences, business, psychology, and other disciplines for modeling complex relationships among variables. Also, the program builds up competency to bring good research paper publications
which is mandatory as per UGC regulation in India. The entire program is a blend of theoretical insight and hands on practical application of analytical tools.

He is an eminent teacher and a statistician having more than 25 years of experience in teaching statistics. Conducting research who retired as - Associate Professor and Head of
Postgraduate and Research Department of Statistics. University College, Trivandrum. He is a regular invitee to premiere Education institutions and academic staff colleges in India in Research Methodology and Applied Statistics. He was the member of committee of expert statistician constituted by Government of Kerala to study the standardization process for entrance examinations for professional courses and statistician for election studies. He has published several papers on theoretical and applied research on National and International journals. He has rendered statistical analysis on more than 500 PhD works and several MPhil/PG Projects on various subjects. Presently he is the president of Kerala Statistical Institute, visiting Professor at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (ISER) and Digital university of Kerala.
The primary objective of this FDP is to provide
1.participants with a comprehensive introduction to Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Partial Least Squares (PLS).
2. The program aims to equip participants with practical skills in implementing SEM and PLS models using statistical software.
3. Participants will be able to formulate research questions and design appropriate SEM and PLS models to test complex relationships among variables.
4. Participants will learn how to investigate indirect effects, conditional relationships, and group-specific effects, allowing them to handle complex research scenarios effectively.
5. The program will emphasize the practical applications of SEM and PLS in academic research and educational settings.
