SPORTS EXTRAVAGANZA organized at Vimala College (Autonomous) Thrissur

As the title indicates our college sports day was a spectacular entertainment. Our college sports day was conducted on January 19th at vimala indoor stadium. Sports day was conducted by the Department of physical education and Rivika Union. The day starts with a grand opening that included a parade of athletes. Various competitions took place throughout the day. On this day , all of them were excited to showcase their talents in front of others. The college atmosphere was so vibrant with the energetic performance by the students. 

Spectators cheered for their favourite temas and for their classmates , adding to the excitement of the day. Both teachers and students irrespective of age took participate in the events.Track events including sprints and relays, field events including long jump , high jump and shot put and many other fun games were also conducted. The fun games conducted , added a festive vibe. The competition came to an end at around 3 pm. The day concluded with award distribution honouring the winners. Overall , sports day was a big success and it promotes a healthy and active lifestyle among students.
