Intercollegiate quiz competition was organized @ Vimala College (Autonomous) Thrissur on June 27, 2023

In connection with National Insurance Day, an intercollegiate quiz competition was organized on June 27, 2023 at Vimala College (Autonomous) Thrissur. LIC Sponsored the first and second-place prizes. Sri A Shiyas, Senior Divisional Manager LIC Thrissur Division, inaugurated the event. The quiz competition featured 44 teams in total from different colleges. There were two rounds: prelims and final. The prelims round began following the inauguration. Quiz masters Sudha K and M Prasad took charge. The preliminary round was held during the awareness session. There were 25 questions in all, and the top five teams advanced to the final round. The final round lasted for around five rounds, and all of the teams participated well. 44 teams were participated in the  Quiz from different colleges across Kerala.

S Banulal and Anil Mathew of St. Berchmans College,Changanassery won the first prize of Rs. 5000/-, a certificate, and a memento. Sethulakshmi P S of Vimala College (Autonomous), Thrissur, won the second prize with a cash award of Rs. 2500/-, a certificate, and a memento. Merinrose A Sebastian and Meera ullas of vimala college(Autonomous) has won the third prize with a certificate. fourth, and fifth teams receive mementos. A G Geetha, chief manager of the LIC Thrissur branch 1, distributes prizes. E-certificates are given to all other participants.
