A visit to OV Vijayan Memorial at Thasark by St. Thomas College (Autonomous) Thrissur

A visit to OV Vijayan Memorial at Thasark, Palakkad by MA English students of St Thomas College, Thrissur was made on 1st Feb. 2024.It was conducted as part of their study of O. V. Vijayan's novel " The Legend of Khasak" prescribed in the syllabus of Malayalam Literature in Translation for 4th semester. 

The  students got a clear picture of OV Vijayan's development as a great novelist by the documentary presented there. Also they could witness the background of the novel" The Legend of Khasak", the English translation of the novel in Malayalam" Khasakinte Ithihasom". It was attended by 35 MA students of English dept. and two tutors Mr. Bibin Joseph and Dr. Viju MJ accompanied with students.
