Are the food we eat everyday healthy? It is one of the biggest problems we face recently. Healthy food, proper exercise and exposure to sunlight is essential to be healthy. This is where the homestead farming comes into play. Firstly, it ensures food sufficiency which is nutritious and free from harmful fertilizers and chemicals.
Secondly, simple work means more number of tasks. This makes us to exercise outdoors more often and increases our exposure to sunlight. Thirdly, caring for livestock and watching our own crops grow gives us a sense of mental satisfaction. Thus it not only contributes to our physical health but also our mental health.
