Zoology Department Exhibition organized at Mercy College Palakkad

Mercy College Palakkad conducted an Exhibition ‘Criminalis Forensica’ on Forensic Analysis of DNA from Crime scene on 8th January 2024. The exhibition was open from 10 am to 3 pm. The exhibition was mainly conducted for school students. Many students from various schools nearby attended the exhibition. Our motive was to provide basic knowledge on Crime scene handling and biological evidence preservation. 

The importance of such evidences in solving criminal cases and various lab techniques to analyze the biological samples was demonstrated by PG students. The main attraction of this exhibition was DNA profiling. The demonstrations helped the curious students in gaining knowledge. The students were impressed and they left with good feedback.
