A one month free beautician course was organized by E D Club
, Mercy college, Palakkad and M A Ply Foundation . The program was inaugurated
on 15th September 2023 by Dr Sreelakshmi Pradeep , Mrs Malabar and
Mrs Kerala Runner up , at seminar hall, Mercy college. Principal Dr Jorry T F
delivered presidential address, Sri.Nikhil Kodiyathur, Director M A Ply
Foundation and Ms.Ramya John HOD, Department of Commerce were delivered
falicitation speech during the inaugural meeting. 
There were 54 students registered in the program. Resource
persons Ms. Shyamala and Ms. Sugandhi took the sessions of course module like
threading, waxing, hair cutting , facial, pedicure , manicure, etc. 20 sessions
were taken in total and the students received the course completion certificate
too. 
The program
was winded up on 26th October 2023.The chief guest of closing
ceremony was Shri Niyas Arayckal, Founder of Fitpack fitness studo,
Palakkad.Sri. Nikhil Kodiyathur, Ms.Ramya John were delivered the falicitation
speech during the closing session. Ms.Vini A V, Assistant Professor of
Department of Commerce was the General Coordinator and Sreelalshmi of final
year B.com was the student coordinator of this program.
